Merchant Navy Day 2018

The Town Council hosted a flag raising ceremony on 30th August to mark Merchant Navy Day. The Council flew the flag from the Memorial Gardens over the whole week to mark Merchant Navy Day on 3rd September.

POSTPONED Local Hero Awards

Pembrey and Burry Port Town Council had hoped to host its inaugural Local Hero Awards this year during September, however due to a busy schedule, most notably the incredibly successful Tour of Britain 2018 stage 1 Grand Depart from Pembrey Country Park, the Council has decided to postpone the awards until next year so that the event can be given the time and effort it deserves.

CYCA - Leader Training programme

Carmarthenshire Youth and Children's Association are offering free training opportunities for people living in Pembrey. There is on-site, free childcare available for parents with children not of school age taking part also. Mae CYCA yn cynnal hyfforddiant am ddim i pobl sydd yn byw ym Mhenbre.
